Apolis' "Common Gallery" art space and store was included as part of Departure’s city guide for Los Angeles.
From the write-up…
“Located in a warehouse-like space in Downtown L.A.’s Arts District, Apolis: Common Gallery is the first store for the socially minded menswear and accessories brand, founded by brothers Raan and Shea Parton in 2004. In addition to Apolis’s own goods — stylish every-day items created using materials and artisans sourced responsibly around the world (jute bags created by a collective of women in Bangladash, for example, or hand-knit alpaca sweaters from Peru) — the gallery-like shop displays rotating artist exhibitions and unique items found from the brother’s constant travels.”
